The Legacy of Fear: How the Shadow of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Shaped Kenya's Political Landscape In the annals of Kenya's political history, the events of 1969 stand out as a defining moment marked by fear, coercion, and manipulation. The political tension surrounding Jaramogi Oginga Odinga's candidature led to a series of oath-taking ceremonies in Gatundu that forever altered the fabric of Kenyan society. Understanding this historical context is crucial, especially when contemporary politicians attempt to invoke these dark chapters for political gain. The Fear of Jaramogi and the Birth of the Gatundu Oath The roots of the infamous Gatundu oath can be traced back to the fear and propaganda surrounding Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, the former vice-president and then-leader of the opposition. After government rescue, insurance firm AIG partied at swank resort...

Days after federal officials agreed to an $85 billion bailout of American International Group, the insurance firm spent more than $440,000 for a corporate retreat at a swanky California resort. An invoice from the week-long getaway, a copy of which you'll find below, was obtained by the congressional panel that has been holding hearings this week about Wall Street collapses and executive excess. The late-September AIG gathering at the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach cost $443,343, according to the invoice. The six-figure sum covered hotel rooms, banquets, golf fees, and spa services at the resort south of Los Angeles. However, company funds apparently were not spent on exploding cakes or urinating ice statues.

Those AIG crooks are just working on the "trickle down" theory which proclaimed that the money will be trickled down to poor people and the lower classes if we just give the already fat, wealthy people lot of tax cuts, tax incentives, pork barrel earmark, and trillions of bailout money. For the past years, they have swindled millions of dollars and in return threw pennies on the floor for people to pick up, then acted as if they were doing a favor for the society. The acted as if they were the Captain of America - the so called "job creators", and without them there would be no job, no income, no benefits...blah..blah..blah...Amazingly, lot of people in this country stupidily believed those crooks, sided with them, proudly bent over let those crooks royally screwed them in the asses, then proclaimed it was all about "free market" and conservative values. There were lot of idiots thought that some day, if they just work harder, will joint the rank of those crooks. Well, keep dream on.
