The move has sparked widespread criticism and condemnation from Kenyans, who view it as insensitive and immoral, given the prevailing poverty and hardship gripping the nation.

At a time when many Kenyan families are struggling to make ends meet, facing job losses, inflation, and economic instability, Pastor Odero's lavish donation has struck a nerve.
