Condoms ordered for Kenyan refugees

THE deputy Regional District Commissioner of Tororo District in Uganda, Richard Gulume, has instructed the West Budama health centre to stock condoms for Kenyan refugees who have fled violence in their country.

He said the instructions had been given to ensure the refugees protect themselves and their partners from HIV/AIDS during their stay at the Mulanda Refugee Transit Centre. Gulume was on Thursday afternoon addressing the refugees during a solidarity visit by Kenya students of Busoga University who had traveled from Iganga to donate food and clothing to their fellow countrymen.
